clamd 99.2-1.1 update from 99.2-1

Hello All!

Since this package was updated yesterday I ma getting errors when freshclam
tries to do a daily (etc) update namely :

Needless to say it was alright prior to this update being installed.

Anyone noticed this problem and even better a way of fixing it.

During the update I did check the updated clamd.rpmnew against clamd.conf
and I kill the new one off as it did not add any thing other than show my
changes that has been running for some considerable time.

Did have a look at the clam packages using the install tool but the
previous version is no longer shown so can't revert back.

Offhand, I would say you are just lucky to do the update and database
mirror(s) are down.

$ ping -c1 -w1 database.clamav.net
PING db.us.rr.clamav.net (69.12.162.28) 56(84) bytes of data.

--- db.us.rr.clamav.net ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 0ms

HAving remd out my country db and then deleting all o the content of
/var/lib/clamav (twice) and running freshclam it is now working - have just
now also unremd the uk db url although that seems to be still reporting
issues.

What else is new :)

At least your Internet connection worked. I got the same result as
Bits, but in my case, it was our brand-new broadband that was down.
