I haven't seen anyone else raise this problem but
I find that MGA9 is "laggy" for want of a better word

Today I recorded the screen for a streamed video using ffmpeg, only to
find the lip sync of the playback was appalling.\

I have four desktops and I noticed that if a video is playing on one
desktop and I switch to the grid view, the video becomes choppy and halting
These action used to run flawlessly and smoothly with MGA8

Something has changed and my hardware has not

After further tests I am prepared to blame the streaming site, tentatively.

Trying another TV site produces a proper lipsync download

This site also one of those that claims an add blocker is being used
when it's not so

And also require that all cookies , history site settings etc be reset
Only to find it still doesn't work. It really is infuriating
And then the browser is totally lobotomized and need major reconfig.

I thought I'd got around it by recording the screen but, not so.result
is no lipsync: but only for this site

I give up. I take a vicarious pleasure in the news of free to air TV
struggling with the streaming services

regards
