Latest nVidia driver

Around the time that kernel 5.15.41-1 was deployed (hit my machine
Sunday 22 May), an updated nVidia driver was released. When rebooting to
5.15.41-1, I noticed messages that the nVidia driver was being
compiled/installed. However, since then my display has refused to switch
itself off despite the power settings in "System Settings/Power
Management/Energy Saving being set to "Switch off after 5 minutes"
(changing to another value doesn't help)
Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just my set-up?

Just tested it on my laptop. It's working for me and I haven't seen any reports
of it not working for others.

My laptop uses nvidia-current and amdgpu using mageia-prime.

$ lspcidrake -v|grep Card
Card:ATI Volcanic Islands and later (amdgpu): Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI]|Renoir [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:1002 device:1636 subv:1043 subd:1e21) (rev: c6)
Card:NVIDIA GeForce 635 series and later: NVIDIA Corporation|TU106M [GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:10de device:1f15 subv:1043 subd:1e21) (rev: a1)

# uname -r
5.15.44-server-1.mga8 (the current version of the kernel in testing).

I set mine for one minute and it worked fine.

Is it the same for the "junk" user
